Epic Armoury’s Raider Armour is a worn and rugged piece of armor protecting the upper chest and neck. Consisting of two solid steel plates, this armor is sculpted to fit the body after securing the leather straps at the shoulders comfortably. This steel riveted piece has been treated with Epic Armoury‘s Epic Dark Metal and a speckled brown coat to give the armor a rusted, well used finish.

The Raider Armour is embellished with leather straps and antique-finished rivets. Made of 1 mm thick galvanized mild steel and top-grain leather straps and fittings, this armor piece is built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather and metal armor care.

Inspiration

• Based on orc costuming, which is a creature whose earliest references are found in Old English and Anglo-Saxon sources, such as in Beowulf and in 16th century Italian folktales
