Your Broad Axe sends a goblin clear off his feet, landing in a pile of his buddies. They miscalculated your massive strength, and are reeling backwards on the retreat. So much for supposed alliances. They have learned too late that betraying an Orc of the Black Water would mean death. It’s too bad they won’t be able to share the word with their kin.

You adjust your axe, letting out a battle cry of rage as another goblin aims for your ankles. This one goes flying another fifteen paces.

DETAILS

This bestselling Ready For Battle Broad Axe is a double-headed weapon of war suitable for the toughest of fighters. The Broad Axe has a 65 cm handle with a large half-moon shaped blade and a mean looking spike. The blade is just over 30 cm across with a 40 cm edge.

The blade is well-supplemented with a Ready for Battle Wooden Shield, Sword or Dagger. Made from durable closed cell foam around a fibreglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, you can feel confident that your LARP weapon will provide the safety and appeal you want when crafting your kit–whether it be for a Viking, Orc, or Barbarian.

HISTORY

• First hafted axe was created about 6,000 B.C. using birch-tar and raw-hide lashings to fix the blade to its handle
• Many battle axes doubled as tools and were cheaper to make than swords
